Our advanced models simulate all critical elements of a specific procedure. The materials included have biomechanical characteristics similar to those of human tissue, and behave in a similar manner during cutting, manipulation, suturing, and electro-cautery. Relevant anatomical elements like bowel, vasculature, fat, and other features of internal viscera are included. The advanced trainers have full medical imaging compatibility (CT scan, 2-dimensional and 3D ultrasound) and simulate true operative metrics of performance (tumor margins, operative and ischemia time, amongst others).
Gynecological phantom intended to simulate treatment of endometriosis using high-frequency ultrasound (HIFU). Phantom contains a synthetic vagina, rectum, cervix, uterus, and nodule visible on ultrasound. The hydrogel phantom is contained within a resealable plastic box and lid.
Breast Phantom containing one tumor and one cyst within the breast tissue, intended for ultrasound imaging and simulated biopsy. Chest wall included and visible on ultrasound.
Phantom containing vagina, vaginal canal, cervix, uterus, urethra, bladder, rectum, and a large cervical tumor (7 cm diameter). Ideal for HDR and LDR brachytherapy training and related procedures. Pre-operative MRI files are supplied with the phantom.
Pelvic phantom containing a small cervical tumor (4 cm diameter), vagina, vaginal canal, cervix, uterus, urethra, bladder, and rectum. Ideal for training with standard gynecological exams and advanced procedures like hysteroscopy and endometrial ablation.
